Should TOG live at the Triangle house next year, or live with The Mooch and Nick the Russian, a dozen blocks away?
Triangle: $550/month w/ food
Das House: ~$260/month +1/3 Utilities
I need to make the decision pretty damn quick, but I still have no idea what I’m going to do. Any Suggestions?

A person belonging to an ethnic group whose members are commonly considered to have certain stereotypical mannerisms met another person belonging to a different ethnic group with a different set of imputed stereotypical mannerisms.
The first person acted in a manner consistent with the stereotypes associated with his ethnic group, and proceeded to make a remark which might be considered to establish conclusively his membership in that group, whereupon his companion proceeded to make a remark with a double meaning, the first meaning of which could be interpreted to indicate his agreement with his companion, but the other meaning of which serves to corroborate his membership in his particular ethnic group.
The first person then took offense at his remark, and reacted in a stereotypical manner consistent with his own ethnic group.

You thought I was dead, didn’t you? Don’t lie to me, I know you better than that.
A few things I’ve discovered in the last 2 weeks:
I’m currently being stalked
People are stupid regardless of their port of call.
I could have myself a one-night-stand right now at the drop of a hat, and I’m not going for it. Behold my ability to shatter male stereotypes, and borify my life at the same time.
I will do more work in the next 3 weeks of my life than any of you will do in any 8-week span of your life. I Guarentee it.
Sun burn lines suck way more than sun tan lines.
And, as always I hate people.

A very fitting memorial for the fallen members of the greatest generation.

…so allow me to rant a wee bit:
Fuck the 9/11 commission. No, seriously fuck it. Not a single thing has been accomplished and all it’s served to do thus far is to be a platform of partisan blamesmenship. Doomacrats saying Bush spectacular destroyed our national security in the 9 months of office from its glorious height of utopian peace we were at circa January ‘01. The ‘Publican administration claiming it “did everything possible to prevent the attacks” and parading some there superior emphasis on raising our protection from the pre-Jurassic levels it was circa ‘01.
Here’s the real deal: Everybody blew it. EVERBODY. Clinton was a pussy, and the ‘publicans didn’t care. Nobody of sufficient power understood the threat, and they’ve got nobody to blame but themselves. So that’s why they’re blaming other people of sufficient power. If we could ever end this political grandstanding bullshit, maybe, just maybe we can go back finding more asses to kick. We’re into serious “let he who is without sin…” time now (heh, biblical reference on Easter)
The longer superfluous bickering goes on, the less compassionate I get. If as a country, we’re still bitching and moaning about who woulda/shoulda/coulda about 9/11 a year from now, I’m adopting the Swordfish foreign policy:
They bomb a church, we bomb ten.
They hijack a plane, we take out an airport.
They execute American tourist, we tactically nuke an entire city.
Our job is to make terrorism so horrific that is becomes unthinkable to attack Americans
Okay, time for bed, don’t want to be late for Easter services tomorrow.

Is it just me or does it seem like parading in the streets screaming anti-American/anti-Israeli slogans and burning horribly made effigies of political leaders and shoddy flags not nearly as effective as it used to be?

…a cookie to the first person who can explain this statement to the rest of the class correctly:
“The only thing worse than authoritarian socialism is epistemological agnosticism.”

Scaled Composites (TOG’s official ideal future employer) just got clearance from the FAA to go sub-orbital, in SpaceShip One. I’m guessing that they will make their try for the X-Prize around late-summer.
If Burt Rutan were a lady, and about 30 years younger, I would jump his bones right now.

Load up on guns
Bring your friends
It’s fun to lose
And to pretend
She’s overboard
Myself assured
I know I know
A dirty word
Hello
With the lights out it’s less dangerous
Here we are now
Entertain us
I feel stupid and contagious
Here we are now
Entertain us
A mulatto
An albino
A mosquito
My libido
Yea
I’m worse at what I do best
And for this gift I feel blessed
Our little group has always been
And always will until the end
Hello
With the lights out it’s less dangerous
Here we are now
Entertain us
I feel stupid and contagious
Here we are now
Entertain us
A mulatto
An albino
A mosquito
My libido
Yea
And I forget
Just what it takes
And yet I guess it makes me smile
I found it hard
Its hard to find
Oh well, whatever, nevermind
Hello
With the lights out it’s less dangerous
Here we are now
Entertain us
I feel stupid and contagious
Here we are now
Entertain us
A mulatto
An albino
A mosquito
My libido
Yea
