TOG is updating his web log from work in style now. Just today, the AE department got 10 new 19″ flat screen ViewSonic Monitors, and TOG managed to nab one before they got put in our labs.
Today is the last day of February (officially designated by TOG as the “Month of Seclusion”). Over all I judge this experimental month to be a success. I paid more attention to things I need to be getting done, got in better touch with some old friends, and got some high quality soul-relaxation time, which was sorely needed after a big part of my life got an emotional Daisy Cutter dropped on it. But that’s all in the past. Now, it’s onward and upward.

With all those “really smart” people at harvard, you would think they would be able to make their own blogs, but no they need professional web log ambassadors to help them.

The new plan for rebuilding the WTC site was chosen to day, and it includes a 1,776 foot spire that would be the tallest building in the world! That’s right you dirty islamic fundamentalists. You blow up our pretty office buildings and we go out replace them the tallest building in the freaking world! We’ve got the glory, and you’ve got a giant kitty litter box. Bjork you all!

In Memorium
Early this morning Fred Rogers died of stomach cancer. Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood ran for 30 years, and we all grew up on it. There was always something about him that made me feel at peace. The world is now a less peaceful and calm without him hear. Mr Rogers, you were loved and will be greatly missed. Visit Mr. Rogers’ website and continue to amazed at this wonderful man.
It’s a beautiful day in this neighborhood,
A beautiful day for a neighbor.
Would you be mine?
Could you be mine?…
It’s a neighborly day in this beauty wood,
A neighborly day for a beauty.
Would you be mine?
Could you be mine?…
I’ve always wanted to have a neighbor just like you.
I’ve always wanted to live in a neighborhood with you.
So, let’s make the most of this beautiful day.
Since we’re together we might as well say:
Would you be mine?
Could you be mine?
Won’t you be my neighbor?
Won’t you please,
Won’t you please?
Please won’t you be my neighbor?

I brief random example of each from the past 24 hours of my life
Thought: Sports Night is the greatest show ever!
Word: Neil Cuvato is so freaking insightful I love that guy.
Deed: The following phrase was stated in a loud voice in the middle of Perkin’s while standing a mere 3 feet away from Kirk Hinrich and Nick Collison: “Hey, leave my recursive computational fluid dynamics out of this!” …man, I suck.

You’ve got to know when to hold ‘em, know when to fold ‘em
Know when to walk away, know when to run.
You never count your money when you’re sittin’ at the table.
There’ll be time enough for countin’ when the dealin’s done.
Every hand’s a winner and every hand’s a loser
And the best that you can hope for is to die in your sleep.

My sleep schedule is total crap right now. I woke up Thursday at 8:30 a.m. and didn’t go to bed untill Friday at 3 p.m. Yes, that’s right 30.5 hours of consecutive awakeness. and that coming just a day after I went 20 hours staight. I already know that I will get hella sick in the next 48 hours, but I deal with that when I get there.
Man, my life totally blows.
