I don't get many things

I don't get many things right the first time
in fact I am told that a lot
now I now all the wrong turns,
the stumbles, and falls brought me here
where was I before the day
when I first saw your lovely face
now I see it every day.

I know that I am, I am,
I am the luckiest

-Ben Folds, The Luckiest

partial and with mispellings :(

Sorry Giles, but the intention was not to quote the entire song, it was to convey a feeling or emotion that was illustrated better by Ben Folds, than myself.

And no, there were no misspellings in my post. There were however misspellings in your comment. Ironically, you misspelled "misspellings".
