I just finished watching LOTR: The Two Towers on "the sneak" (official temporary computer of TOG) and I made a interesting parallel between middle-earth and reality. There are no truly good people, the idea of "pure good" exists, but no on really personifies it. True evil, on the other hand, is much more prevalent. If you're a fan of the movies, you easily see the parallel here. I don't know if this counts for anything, just something I noticed.
